The NIBCO CD04250 is a Schedule 80 PVDF threaded union designed for 1/2 inch plastic piping systems. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a high-purity thermoplastic that resists aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and elevated temperatures, making it a preferred material in demanding fluid-handling applications. This union features female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on both ends, allowing it to be installed without solvent cementing.
