The NIBCO CD04200 is a 2-inch Schedule 80 PVDF socket union designed for joining and disconnecting sections of plastic piping systems without cutting the line. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) offers outstanding chemical resistance and handles aggressive media that would degrade standard PVC or CPVC fittings. The union features a slip socket on one end and a slip-ring female iron pipe thread (SR FIPT) on the other, allowing a secure, leak-free connection that can be broken apart for maintenance or component replacement.
