The NIBCO CD02800 is a Schedule 80 PVDF thermoplastic end cap designed to terminate 3/4-inch female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections in industrial and chemical piping systems. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and high-purity fluid handling applications. The red color aids in visual identification of PVDF fittings in multi-material piping systems. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on corrosive-service, high-purity, or chemical process lines where standard PVC or CPVC fittings are not suitable.
