New Pig MAT245 Universal Absorbent Roll 24x300 Ft

Product Description

The NEW PIG MAT245 is a universal absorbent roll designed to contain and absorb fluid spills in industrial, commercial, and maintenance environments. Constructed from polypropylene, this roll measures 24 inches wide and 300 feet long, providing continuous coverage across large work areas, shop floors, or beneath equipment. At 23 pounds per roll, it delivers light-absorbency performance across a broad range of fluids. It is suited for facilities maintenance crews, industrial hygiene teams, and trade shops that need reliable spill control in a format that can be cut to length on the job.

The MAT245 roll is appropriate for use in machine shops, mechanical rooms, fleet maintenance bays, and industrial facilities where spills of mixed fluid types occur. Its universal absorbency rating makes it practical for general-purpose deployment rather than a single-application setup. The 300-foot length per roll reduces change-out frequency in high-traffic areas, and the polypropylene construction holds up against oil, coolants, solvents, and water without breaking down on contact.

Key Features

• Universal absorbency handles oil, coolants, solvents, and water in a single product
• Polypropylene construction resists fluid degradation and maintains integrity under load
• 24-inch width provides broad coverage along equipment bases, walkways, and drainage paths
• 300-foot continuous roll allows field-cut sizing to match any application
• Light absorbency weight classification suits routine maintenance drips and moderate spill scenarios

Compatibility

Designed as a general-purpose universal absorbent roll for use in industrial and commercial maintenance settings where mixed-fluid spill control is required.

Installation Notes

Absorbent rolls are deployed by maintenance and facilities personnel and require no special tools or trade licensing. Before placing the roll beneath active machinery, isolate or shut down fluid sources where safe to do so. Cut to desired length using a utility knife or scissors rated for non-woven polypropylene materials. Follow local environmental regulations for disposal of saturated absorbent material, as absorbed fluids may classify the used roll as hazardous waste.
