The NEW PIG MAT155 is a universal absorbent pad designed to contain and absorb a wide range of industrial fluids including oil, coolants, solvents, and water. Constructed from polypropylene, each pad measures 20 inches in length and 15 inches in width, providing broad surface coverage for spill control tasks. Rated for light absorbency, these pads are suited for routine maintenance cleanup, workbench lining, and leak containment around machinery. They are sold in a package quantity of 100 pads, making them practical for facilities that require consistent spill response supplies on hand. Installation and use require no tools.
These pads are appropriate for use in commercial and light industrial environments where fluid spills from equipment, vehicles, or processing lines occur regularly. Typical applications include placement beneath leaking fittings, around drip points on machinery, in tool cribs, and on shop floors. Because they absorb both water-based and petroleum-based fluids, a single pad type can cover multiple spill scenarios without the need to stock separate absorbents for different fluid classes. Facilities maintenance personnel, mechanics, and industrial hygiene staff are the primary users.
Designed as a universal absorbent pad compatible with general-purpose spill control applications across a broad range of industrial, commercial, and maintenance environments where oil, water, solvent, or coolant spills are present.
No tools or special equipment are required to deploy these absorbent pads. Place pads directly beneath identified drip points, around equipment bases, or over spilled fluid surfaces. Used pads that have absorbed hazardous fluids such as solvents or oils must be disposed of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations governing saturated absorbent waste. Facilities should consult their safety data sheets for absorbed fluids to determine proper disposal classification.
