The NEUTRIK AMERICAS NE8FDY-C6-B is a Cat6 IDC termination module designed for use in structured cabling systems requiring reliable, high-performance network connections. This module uses insulation displacement contact (IDC) termination, allowing field technicians to terminate Cat6 cable without soldering. Built in black, it fits into compatible D-series panel and wall-plate housings. The NE8FDY-C6-B is suited for installations where clean cable management and durable connectivity are required at patch points, outlet locations, or equipment interfaces.
This termination module is used in commercial and residential structured cabling installations, including data centers, office networking runs, and AV or control system wiring. It is appropriate for any application calling for a field-terminatable Cat6 network jack within a D-series chassis or modular panel frame. Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians, network cabling contractors, or licensed electricians working within structured cabling systems.

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed electrician in accordance with applicable codes, including TIA-568 cabling standards. Power down any active equipment connected to the circuit before terminating or replacing this module. Use a proper punch-down tool calibrated for IDC-style terminations to seat conductors correctly. Avoid untwisting Cat6 pairs beyond the minimum required for termination, as excess untwisting can degrade signal performance.
