The NDS 864GMTL is a Pro Series channel drain kit designed to collect and remove excess surface water from driveways, patios, and other outdoor hardscape areas. The kit measures 5 inches wide by 39.38 inches long and combines a polyolefin and steel construction for durability in exposed outdoor environments. The channel body and end components are made from polypropylene, while the grate is galvanized steel. This kit is ADA compliant and carries a Class B load rating when properly encased in concrete, making it suitable for vehicular and pedestrian traffic areas. Licensed contractors and experienced installers handle typical deployment.
The 864GMTL Pro Series kit is used in residential and light commercial drainage applications including driveways, walkways, pool decks, and patio slabs where surface water accumulation is a concern. The kit connects to 3-inch or 4-inch sewer drain pipe fittings and is also compatible with corrugated pipe and triple wall pipe. The package includes three channel drain sections, each with the grate and bottom outlet pre-assembled, plus one end outlet and one end cap. An interlocking design allows each channel section to lock securely to the next for a tight, continuous run.
Fits 3-inch or 4-inch sewer drain pipe fittings, corrugated pipe, and triple wall pipe. Designed for use in accordance with NDS installation instructions; some installations may require a concrete collar to achieve the stated Class B load rating.
Installation should be performed by a qualified contractor familiar with site drainage and concrete flatwork. Power or water supply to the area should be addressed before excavation begins. Some installations require encasing the channel in a concrete collar to meet Class B load rating requirements — loads are based on the product being set in concrete per NDS guidelines. Always follow the NDS installation instructions included with the product; field modifications to the channel or outlet connections may compromise load rating and drainage performance.
