The NDL INDUSTRIES W4095 is a copper reducing tee designed for sweat-connection plumbing and refrigeration piping systems. It joins three copper lines in a tee configuration with a reduced branch outlet, allowing a change in line size at the branch without additional fittings. The run connections measure 1-5/8 inches on both ends, and the branch connection measures 1-1/8 inches. All three connections are solder-cup (C x C x C) ends. Licensed plumbers and HVAC refrigeration technicians install this fitting in both new construction and retrofit work.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a copper sweat piping system requires a branch takeoff at a smaller diameter. Typical uses include refrigerant distribution piping, domestic hot and cold water supply lines, and hydronic heating loops. The all-copper construction is compatible with standard brazing and soldering procedures used in refrigeration and plumbing trades.
Designed as an OEM-style copper sweat fitting for use with 1-5/8 inch and 1-1/8 inch OD copper tubing in plumbing or refrigeration piping systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or EPA-certified HVAC refrigeration technician. Shut off and recover or isolate the refrigerant or fluid circuit before cutting into the line. Clean and flux all solder-cup surfaces thoroughly before applying heat; follow applicable IPC or IFGC code requirements for brazing materials when used in refrigerant service. Avoid overheating the fitting, as excess heat can damage adjacent components or compromise the joint.
