The NDL INDUSTRIES W4056 is a copper reducing tee designed for sweat-solder (C x C x C) copper tube connections. It joins a 1-1/8-inch run line to two 7/8-inch branch outlets, allowing a technician to step down flow in a branching configuration without additional adapters. This fitting is used in refrigeration piping, HVAC refrigerant lines, and plumbing systems where copper tubing is joined by soldering. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers install this fitting as part of new construction or replacement work on copper-pipe systems.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial applications where the main line runs at 1-1/8 inches and branch lines reduce to 7/8 inches. It is commonly used in split-system refrigerant distribution piping, domestic water distribution, and hydronic systems. The all-copper construction makes it compatible with standard refrigerant-grade and water-service copper tubing joined by sweat connections.
Designed as an OEM-style sweat-fit replacement for copper reducing tee applications on 1-1/8-inch by 7/8-inch by 7/8-inch C x C x C configurations in residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off and recover or isolate the system fluid before cutting into any existing line. Clean and flux all mating tube ends before soldering, following applicable IFGC and IPC guidelines for sweat joints. Do not apply heat directly to a pressurized or fluid-filled line.
