The NDL INDUSTRIES W4007 is a copper reducing tee designed for sweat-joint plumbing and refrigeration tubing applications. It joins three copper lines in a tee configuration with two full-size 5/8-inch ports on the run and a reduced 1/2-inch port on the branch. The C x C x C connection type means all three ends accept standard copper tube for soldered connections. Plumbers and HVAC technicians install this fitting when a branch line of a smaller diameter needs to tap off a main copper run without requiring additional adapters or bushings.
This reducing tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, hydronic distribution lines, and refrigerant piping where a transition from 5/8-inch to 1/2-inch tubing is required at the branch. It is sold in a box quantity of 50 units, making it practical for contractors stocking fittings for multiple service calls or new construction rough-in work. The all-copper construction is compatible with standard lead-free solder and flux used in potable water and HVAC systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for copper tubing systems using standard 5/8-inch and 1/2-inch outside-diameter tube in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable IPC or IMC code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the water or refrigerant system completely before cutting into existing lines. Clean all tube ends and fitting sockets with emery cloth and apply an appropriate flux before soldering. Avoid overheating the fitting during the sweat process, as excessive heat can damage the tube or nearby components.
