The NDL INDUSTRIES np-107-3265 is a PVC reducing bushing designed to connect pipes of two different diameters within a plumbing or drainage system. It accepts a 3-inch connection on the larger end and steps down to a 2-inch connection on the smaller end, allowing a transition between pipe sizes without additional adapters. Constructed entirely of PVC, this bushing resists corrosion and chemical degradation common in water distribution and waste systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both residential and light commercial applications where schedule-compatible PVC piping is specified.
This reducing bushing is suited for use in cold and ambient-temperature water supply lines, drain-waste-vent (DWV) systems, irrigation piping, and pool or spa plumbing where a 3-inch to 2-inch diameter reduction is required. It is a socket-style bushing fitting that seats inside a hub fitting or pipe coupling, keeping the transition compact and inline with the run.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation reducing bushing for schedule-compatible PVC piping systems requiring a 3-inch to 2-inch diameter transition.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into any existing piping. Solvent-cement the bushing using PVC primer and cement rated for the pipe schedule and service type, following the cement manufacturer's cure time before pressurizing. Do not use this fitting on hot-water lines or applications that exceed the pressure and temperature ratings of standard PVC schedule pipe.
