The ND INDUSTRIES 90716 is a copper-based anti-seize lubricant formulated to prevent galling, seizing, and corrosion on threaded and mated metal surfaces. Supplied in a 16 oz brush-top jar, the paste-style compound has an approximate viscosity of 120,000 to 175,000 and is rated for service up to 1,800 degrees F. This makes it well suited for high-heat fastener applications where standard thread compounds break down. Licensed trades and maintenance professionals apply it during assembly to ensure future disassembly remains straightforward even after extended exposure to heat, moisture, and vibration.
This anti-seize compound is particularly effective on soft metal parts including copper and brass fittings, flanges, and threaded connections. Common applications include exhaust hardware, boiler fittings, pump assemblies, and any threaded joint subject to repeated thermal cycling. The brush-top jar allows direct, controlled application without additional tools, making it practical for field use on HVAC, plumbing, and industrial mechanical systems.
Designed for use on soft metal parts such as copper and brass, and suitable for threaded or mated metal surfaces in high-temperature mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC applications.
Apply this compound to clean, dry threads or mating surfaces before assembly. HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and plumbers typically apply anti-seize during new installation or scheduled maintenance. Follow applicable code requirements under IFGC or IPC when working on gas or fluid piping systems. Avoid over-application, as excess paste can contaminate sealing surfaces or interfere with torque readings.
