The NAVAC np5dp2 is a two-stage vacuum pump rated at 5 CFM and designed for HVAC/R evacuation work on systems using both traditional and A2L refrigerants. It achieves an ultimate vacuum depth of 15 microns, which meets the deep-vacuum requirements demanded by modern high-efficiency refrigerant circuits. The integrated cylinder structure and forced oil circulation system support consistent performance across repeated service calls. A built-in carry hook adds jobsite convenience, particularly when working at elevation or in tight mechanical rooms. Licensed HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics performing system evacuation prior to refrigerant charge will find this pump suited to their workflow.
The np5dp2 is built for residential and light commercial HVAC service applications where A2L refrigerant compatibility is required. As the industry transitions to lower-GWP refrigerants such as R-32 and R-454B, evacuation equipment must be rated for use with mildly flammable refrigerant classes. This pump addresses that requirement directly. It is also suitable for standard R-410A, R-22, and R-134a systems, making it a versatile single pump for shops servicing mixed equipment fleets.
Compatible with A2L refrigerant systems as well as traditional refrigerants. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install vacuum pump for HVAC/R evacuation service across residential and light commercial refrigerant circuits.
Installation and operation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable EPA Section 608 regulations and local codes. Before connecting the pump, verify all system pressures are relieved and service valves are properly positioned. Use compatible vacuum-rated manifold hoses rated for the refrigerant type being serviced. Change the pump oil after deep contamination pulls or per the manufacturer service interval to maintain ultimate vacuum performance.
