National Public Seating SG482410C-40-SS10 Stage Package

Product Description

The NATIONAL PUBLIC SEATING SG482410C-40-SS10 is a portable carpeted stage package designed for schools, auditoriums, and assembly spaces requiring a reliable, reconfigurable performance platform. The stage surface features red carpet finish and ships with black shirred pleat skirting for a finished, professional appearance. The deck is built on a 3/4-inch solid plywood core for structural rigidity. Each platform leg opens and closes with one hand, and ganging devices are permanently welded to each unit so platforms can be securely combined into larger configurations. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical professionals are not the target installer - this unit is set up by facility staff or stage crew.

This package is suited for K-12 schools, houses of worship, community centers, and multipurpose facilities that need a portable stage solution for performances, assemblies, and presentations. The 16-foot by 20-foot footprint covers a substantial performance area and the 24-inch platform height provides clear sightlines from the audience floor. The complete package includes stage deck platforms, two stage steps, 14-gauge guardrails, and full shirred pleat skirting. Assembly and reconfiguration require no special tools.

Installation Notes

Assembly and setup should be performed by at least two people due to overall package weight of 1,880 pounds across all components. Verify all leg locking mechanisms are fully engaged before allowing anyone to stand on the platform. Guardrails should be installed and secured before use whenever the platform is accessible to performers or students. Inspect all ganging connections after each reconfiguration to confirm platforms are firmly joined with no gaps or lateral movement.
