The NATIONAL PUBLIC SEATING S3616C-10 is a portable stage section with a carpet surface finish, designed for quick deployment in schools, auditoriums, houses of worship, and multipurpose venues. The unit measures 96 inches long by 36 inches wide by 16 inches tall and weighs 106 pounds. The frame is constructed from 16-gauge steel, and the deck uses a premium-grade plywood core for rigidity underfoot. The legs are 14-gauge tubular steel and feature spring-loaded support brackets that open and close quickly for fast setup and breakdown without tools.
This stage section is suited for general performance staging, seated band riser configurations, and choral riser builds. Units of the same height can be combined to form one large flat stage surface. Units of varying heights can be arranged in progressive steps for tiered seating or riser layouts. Integrated ganging hardware is pre-installed on each unit, allowing adjacent sections to connect securely and eliminate gaps between panels. This product is typically specified and installed by facility crews, AV contractors, and event production staff in K-12, collegiate, and institutional settings.
Designed to connect with other S3616C-10 units and compatible NATIONAL PUBLIC SEATING stage sections of matching or progressive heights for flat stage or multi-level riser configurations.
Stage assembly and ganging should be performed on a level, stable floor surface before use. Verify all spring-loaded leg brackets are fully locked open and all ganging connections are secured before allowing any load on the deck. Guardrails are recommended for elevated configurations and may be required by local safety codes depending on platform height and occupancy type. Inspect leg brackets and ganging hardware before each deployment.
