The NAPCO isec-kit1 is a self-contained wireless security kit built around the iSecure Go-Anywhere Hub with built-in StarLink LTE communication. The hub supports up to 80 wireless zones and points covering intrusion and fire detection, up to 2 independent areas, and up to 90 user codes. An integral 85 dB siren is built into the base unit. The hub is plug-in AC powered with provision for a standard 4 Ah, 12-volt backup battery. Over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates are supported. The kit ships as a complete starter package intended for licensed alarm installation technicians deploying a low-profile, cellular-based security system without the need for a traditional phone line or broadband connection.
This kit is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a hardwired panel installation is impractical or undesirable. The Go-Anywhere Hub can be placed in a secure interior location, mounted on a wall, or set freestanding on a shelf. The included wireless LCD keypad is lithium battery powered, eliminating keypad wiring runs. Two wireless window and door transmitters and one wireless PIR motion sensor with a 50-foot by 50-foot detection range are included, providing immediate basic perimeter and interior coverage out of the box. The StarLink LTE communicator provides primary communication for alarm reporting without a broadband or POTS line dependency.
The isec-kit1 is designed for use with NAPCO iSecure series wireless sensors and transmitters. Expansion beyond the included devices uses ISEC-WL series transmitters and sensors compatible with the iSecure platform.
Installation of this security system should be performed by a licensed alarm installation technician in accordance with local licensing requirements and applicable codes. Power down the hub before connecting or disconnecting the backup battery. Mount the hub in a secure, concealed interior location to deter tampering. Verify cellular signal strength at the intended hub location before finalizing placement.
