It flows into the gap between mating metal surfaces and cures in the absence of air, creating a strong, permanent bond that resists vibration, fretting corrosion, and axial or rotational loosening. The green-colored formula is well-suited for close-tolerance fits where load transfer and retention must be maximized. This compound is used by maintenance technicians, millwrights, and industrial service professionals working on mechanical drive assemblies.
The B680 is applied in industrial maintenance and repair settings where bearings or bushings must be fixed firmly into housings or onto shafts. Typical applications include press-fit and slip-fit cylindrical assemblies in pumps, motors, gearboxes, and similar rotating equipment. Each container holds 50 ml, which is appropriate for job-site or shop use across multiple applications.
