The MUELLER STREAMLINE W-40110 is a wrot copper sweat tee fitting designed for pressure piping systems in commercial and residential plumbing and HVAC applications. It joins copper tubing at a 2 inch run with two 1-1/2 inch branch and outlet connections, all joined by sweat (CxCxC) end connections. The fitting is manufactured from wrot copper, which offers a denser grain structure and greater pressure resistance compared to cast fittings. At 1.15 pounds, it is a solid, full-weight fitting suited for permanent brazed or soldered installations. Licensed plumbers and HVAC refrigeration technicians are the primary installers of this fitting.

This tee is used wherever a 2 inch copper main line must be reduced and branched to two 1-1/2 inch lines in a single fitting. Typical applications include domestic water distribution, hydronic heating supply and return piping, and refrigeration suction line assemblies. Installation Notes

Shut off and drain the water system or recover refrigerant before cutting into any live line. Clean all tube ends and fitting sockets with emery cloth and apply flux before soldering or brazing.
