The MUELLER STREAMLINE W-2011 is a lead-free, wrot copper reducing 90-degree elbow fitting designed for sweat (solder) connections in pressurized piping systems. Manufactured from UNS C12200 phosphorus-deoxidized copper per ASTM B75/B88/B280, it transitions a 1/4-inch line down to a 1/8-inch line in a short-radius configuration. Rated to 700 psi and 250 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding service in both potable water supply and HVACR applications. The short-radius geometry keeps piping runs compact in tight installations. Licensed plumbers and HVACR technicians use this fitting for precision copper piping work where space and pressure integrity both matter.
The W-2011 is suited for residential and light commercial installations involving potable water supply piping and HVACR refrigerant or hydronic lines. The reducing configuration handles transitions between 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch copper tubing without an additional adapter. Its female soldered x female soldered end connections accept standard copper tubing on both ends, making it compatible with typical sweat-joint assembly practices in confined mechanical spaces, equipment connections, and branch line reductions.
Designed as an OEM-style sweat replacement fitting for 1/4-inch x 1/8-inch copper tubing connections in potable water supply systems and HVACR piping assemblies where lead-free, pressure-rated reducing elbows are required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVACR technician in accordance with applicable local codes, ASME B16 standards, and IFGC or IPC requirements where relevant. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before cutting or disassembling existing lines. Both tube ends and fitting sockets must be cleaned, deburred, and fluxed before applying heat to ensure a void-free solder joint. Do not apply heat to a pressurized or water-filled line.
