The MUELLER STREAMLINE W 01106 is a copper reducing male adapter designed for solder-joint pressure piping systems. It transitions from a 1/8 inch nominal sweat (C) connection to a 1/4 inch male NPT threaded end, allowing a copper supply line to connect directly to a threaded port or valve body. Rated at 700 psi, this fitting is built for pressurized supply systems where a reliable, leak-free joint is critical. The wrot copper construction provides consistent wall thickness and clean socket geometry for proper solder flow. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both new construction and retrofit applications.
This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing supply systems where a copper run terminates at a threaded male connection. Typical applications include connecting copper tubing to equipment valves, fixture supply ports, or threaded instrument taps. The 1/4 inch OD dimension and 700 psi pressure rating make it appropriate for domestic water supply and similar pressurized service lines. It is manufactured domestically and meets the dimensional standards expected for solder-joint copper fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for copper sweat-to-MNPT pressure piping applications in residential and commercial plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off and depressurize the supply line and drain residual water before soldering. Clean and flux both the copper tube end and the fitting socket thoroughly before applying heat to ensure a full, void-free solder joint. Allow the fitting to cool completely before restoring system pressure and checking for leaks.
