The MUELLER STREAMLINE TEE00063 is a 90-degree copper sweat tee fitting designed for use in pressure piping systems where reliable, leak-free branch connections are required. This fitting uses a CxCxC (copper by copper by copper) connection type, meaning all three ports accept standard copper tube soldered directly into the fitting socket. It carries a WT-600 pressure designation and is rated for temperatures from -20 to 400 degrees F. At 0.84 inches in length and 0.56 inches in width, it is a compact 1/8-inch fitting suited for tight installations. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this type of fitting in both new construction and retrofit applications.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, and hydronic systems where a 1/8-inch branch off a main run is needed. The 90-degree geometry makes it appropriate for creating perpendicular branch takeoffs within a copper piping assembly. Its NSF, UL, and UR listings make it suitable for potable water, HVAC, and other regulated piping installations requiring third-party certified components.
Designed as an OEM-style sweat fitting for use with standard 1/8-inch copper tube in residential and commercial plumbing or HVAC piping systems requiring a CxCxC tee configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC or IPC requirements. Always depressurize and drain the piping system before cutting into an existing line or soldering new fittings. Use proper flux and lead-free solder where required by local code, particularly in potable water applications. Allow the fitting to cool fully before restoring system pressure and inspecting for leaks.
