The MUELLER STREAMLINE D5050 is a dehydrated, dead-soft temper copper refrigeration coil designed for HVACR and mechanical refrigeration service applications. Manufactured from C12200 phosphorus deoxidized copper and produced to ASTM B280 standards, this 50-foot coil measures 5/16 inches outer diameter and arrives thoroughly dried, dehydrated, and bright-finished. The soft temper construction allows field bending and routing without mechanical annealing. Each coil ships individually shrink-wrapped and carton-packed to prevent contamination and physical damage during storage and transport. Licensed HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers of this tubing.
This copper service coil is suited for residential and light commercial HVACR installations where a flexible, field-formable refrigeration line is required. Typical applications include suction and liquid line fabrication, refrigerant piping runs, and service replacements in split systems, packaged units, and commercial refrigeration equipment. The dehydrated interior helps maintain system cleanliness by limiting moisture introduction during line fabrication and connection.
Designed as a refrigeration-grade service coil for HVACR and mechanical refrigeration applications requiring 5/16-inch OD soft copper tubing conforming to ASTM B280.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC or refrigeration technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and refrigerant handling regulations. Recover all refrigerant and de-energize the system fully before cutting or connecting any refrigerant lines. Use appropriate flaring or brazing techniques per industry practice, and keep tube ends capped until the moment of connection to preserve the dehydrated interior. Do not exceed the pressure ratings applicable to the tubing size and fitting type being used.
