The MUELLER STREAMLINE CPL00901 is a wrot copper no-stop coupling designed for joining 2-inch copper tubing using a solder (sweat) connection on both ends. Wrot copper construction provides reliable pressure ratings and corrosion resistance suited to potable water, hydronic, and mechanical piping systems. The no-stop design allows the fitting to slide fully over tube ends, making it the correct choice for in-line repair work where a standard coupling with an internal stop cannot be advanced into position. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction and service work on copper distribution and hydronic piping systems.
This coupling is used in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC hydronic applications wherever 2-inch copper tubing requires a straight, full-penetration sweat joint. The no-stop feature is specifically advantageous in repair scenarios where one tube end cannot be moved, such as replacing a damaged section of in-wall or in-slab pipe. The CxC end configuration accepts standard 2-inch copper tube on both ends and is compatible with both Type L and Type K copper tubing dimensions at this nominal size.

Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off and drain the affected water or hydronic circuit completely before cutting or fitting any pipe. Clean and flux all tube ends and fitting sockets thoroughly before applying heat; use a lead-free solder approved for potable water systems where required by code. Do not apply flame directly to the fitting body for extended periods, as overheating can compromise the integrity of the solder joint.
