The MUELLER STREAMLINE COTRED341234 is a lead-free copper reducing tee designed for use in continuous pipeline systems where a branch connection in a different direction is required. Manufactured from ASTM B75 Alloy C12200 copper with solder cup end connections, this fitting meets rigorous standards for potable water, medical gas, and general plumbing service. The dezincification-resistant alloy construction makes it suitable for demanding water quality conditions. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on residential, commercial, and healthcare mechanical systems.
This reducing tee is used in copper piping systems that require a run of 3/4 inches on both the inlet and outlet ends with a 1/2-inch branch takeoff. Typical applications include domestic water distribution, hydronic systems, and medical gas piping in healthcare facilities. Its compliance with NFPA 99 and Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet G4.1 qualifies it for use in medical gas and vacuum systems where third-party certification is required by code.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fitment copper reducing tee for 3/4 x 1/2 x 3/4 inch solder-joint piping assemblies in residential, commercial, and healthcare plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable plumbing code, including IPC and local amendments. Shut off and drain the water supply completely before cutting into an existing pipeline. Use appropriate flux and lead-free solder rated for potable water service when making sweat connections. Do not apply flame to any fitting already installed near flammable materials without proper heat shielding in place.
