The MUELLER STREAMLINE COTRED341212 is a copper reducing tee fitting designed for use in continuous pressure piping systems where a branch connection is needed at a reduced size. It features solder cup ends on all three outlets, allowing connections to be made using standard soldering methods. Sized at 3/4 inches on the run with 1/2-inch branch and outlet, this fitting is manufactured from ASTM B75 Alloy C12200 copper and is certified lead free and dezincification resistant. It carries third-party certification to NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G, making it suitable for potable water and medical gas applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial plumbing systems where a 3/4-inch supply line must be reduced and branched to two 1/2-inch lines. Its medical gas certifications also qualify it for use in health care facility piping systems under NFPA 99. It is part of the Mueller Streamline Series 611RR and is domestically manufactured. Typical applications include water distribution, hydronic heating branch lines, and medical gas piping where certified fittings are required by code.
Designed as a standard solder-cup copper reducing tee for use in 3/4-inch by 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch copper piping systems in residential, commercial, and health care facility installations where NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G and NFPA 99 compliance is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASME B16.22 standards. Shut off and depressurize the supply line and drain residual water before cutting into the existing pipeline. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering; avoid overheating the fitting, as excessive heat can degrade the joint integrity of copper sweat connections. For medical gas applications, follow NFPA 99 installation protocols, which may require additional inspection and certification.
