Product Description

The MUELLER STREAMLINE COCOUPLS34 is a 3/4-inch wrot copper coupling less stop, configured with copper-to-copper (C x C) solder cup ends. Designed for use in pressure piping systems, this fitting joins or repairs two lengths of copper tube without an internal shoulder stop, allowing the fitting to be slid freely along the tube during repair work. The absence of a stop makes it a true repair coupling. It is lead free and manufactured from ASTM B75 Alloy C12200 dezincification-resistant copper. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in potable water, medical gas, and general pressure piping applications.

This coupling is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydronic systems, and medical gas piping. The C x C end configuration accepts standard sweat soldering, making it compatible with conventional copper tube repair and new installation work. Its third-party certifications to NSF/ANSI 61 Annex G and NFPA 99 make it acceptable for use in health care facility gas and vacuum systems as well as compressed medical gas lines per Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet G4.1. Domestically manufactured and built to ASME B16.22, MSS SP-104, and MSS SP-109 standards.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter using standard sweat soldering tools and lead-free solder per applicable local plumbing codes and ASME B16.22 requirements. Shut off and depressurize the water or gas supply and drain the line fully before cutting or fitting. For medical gas systems, installation must comply with NFPA 99 and be performed by qualified personnel following facility protocols. Do not use open-flame soldering near flammable materials without proper shielding and ventilation.
