The MUELLER STREAMLINE ABSBEND14112 is a 90-degree ABS DWV vent elbow designed for use in the venting side of drain, waste, and vent (DWV) plumbing systems. The hub x hub end connections accept pipe on both ends for a secure solvent-weld joint. The abrupt 90-degree angle redirects airflow within the vent stack rather than carrying liquid waste. This fitting is rated for service temperatures from -40 degrees F to 180 degrees F and meets ASTM D2665, ASTM D3965, ASTM D2661, ASTM D3311, and NSF/ANSI Standard 14. It carries a UL Listed 94V-0 rating and NSF U.P. Certification. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this fitting in residential and light commercial DWV rough-in work.

This elbow is used in 1-1/2 inch ABS vent piping runs where a sharp directional change is required on the vent side of the system. Common install scenarios include vent stack offsets, through-wall vent routing, and tie-ins at the top of fixture drain assemblies. Because this is a vent elbow with an abrupt bend geometry, it is not intended for use on the drainage side of the system where a long-sweep elbow would be required by code. Compatibility

Installation Notes
