The MUELLER STREAMLINE ABSADAPTHFIP3 is a 3-inch ABS DWV female adapter designed to transition a solvent weld hub connection to a female NPT threaded connection in drain, waste, and vent piping systems. This fitting allows plumbers to connect smooth-pipe ABS runs to threaded fittings or threaded cleanout plugs without switching pipe materials. The adapter is rated for service temperatures from -40 degrees F to 180 degrees F and carries CSA B181.1, ASTM D2661, ASTM D2665, ASTM D3311, ASTM D3965, UL Listed 94V-0, and NSF/ANSI Standard 14 certifications. It is manufactured domestically and is not intended for use with compressed air or other gases under any circumstances.
