The MUELLER INDUSTRIES W 01003 is a wrot copper pipe coupling designed for joining 1/8-inch copper tubing using a C x C (copper-to-copper) solder joint connection. Wrot copper fittings are manufactured from wrought copper, which produces a denser, stronger grain structure compared to cast fittings. This coupling is used to extend or join straight runs of copper tubing and is installed using standard soldering (sweat) technique. With an outside diameter of 1/4 inch, this fitting meets multiple ASME standards and is suited for plumbing, refrigeration, and hydronic applications where a reliable, leak-free joint is required.
