The MITUTOYO 570-413 is an electronic height gage designed for precise vertical measurement in machine shops, inspection rooms, and tool rooms. It delivers a maximum measurement range of 18 inches (450 mm) with a resolution of 0.0005 inches (0.01 microns) and an accuracy of 0.002 inches (0.050 mm). A feed wheel mechanism provides smooth, controlled stylus travel. The large LCD screen displays readings in high-contrast text at 12 mm character height, making it easy to read under shop-floor lighting conditions. The gage ships ready to use with a silver oxide SR44 battery included. Metrology technicians, quality control inspectors, and precision machinists are the primary users of this instrument.
The 570-413 is suited for layout, inspection, and comparative measurement tasks on surface plates in both production and toolroom environments. It is compatible with Mitutoyo U-Wave wireless data transmission systems, allowing measurement data to be sent directly to a PC or data logger without manual transcription. The instrument is well-matched to applications requiring repeatable, traceable dimensional verification of machined parts, fixtures, and assemblies where a 18-inch vertical range is needed.
Compatible with the Mitutoyo U-Wave wireless data transmission system. Designed for use on standard surface plates in metrology and inspection applications requiring up to 18 inches of vertical measurement range.
This instrument is operated by metrology technicians and quality control personnel rather than installed in a fixed system. Before use, ensure the surface plate is clean and level and that the gage base is free of debris. Do not drop or subject the gage to impact, as this may affect calibration. Follow the manufacturer documentation for battery replacement and U-Wave pairing procedures.
