The MITSUBISHI 602651 is a CCMT-style indexable turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC and manual lathes. Built from cermet substrate with a PVD coating, it carries the manufacturer grade MP3025 and is engineered for high wear resistance to high toughness in steel (P) applications. The insert features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a 7-degree relief angle, a positive side clearance, and a neutral hand orientation. Corner radius measures 0.0156 inches (1/64 inch), and the inscribed circle is 0.375 inches (9.53 mm). Two cutting edges are available per insert, and the chip breaker is pressed into the face.

This insert is suited for turning steel workpieces where consistent surface finish and extended tool life are priorities.
