The MITSUBISHI 10583357 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 1.50 mm (0.0591 inches) mill diameter and a 4-flute helical design, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality in a compact form factor. The AlCrN coating provides thermal and oxidation resistance, making the tool well-suited for high-speed cutting in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and high-temperature alloys. It is a single-end, right-hand cutting tool with a variable helix and variable index geometry that helps reduce chatter and vibration during operation. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists are the primary users.
This end mill is designed for use in CNC machining centers and precision milling operations where small-diameter tooling is required. Its 4.00 mm (0.1575 inches) straight shank is compatible with standard collet systems. The medium-length classification and 45.00 mm (1.7717 inches) overall length make it appropriate for close-tolerance work in mold making, die work, and precision part manufacturing. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys. The AlCrN coating extends tool life when cutting abrasive or work-hardening materials.
Designed for use with standard collet holders and tool holders accepting a 4.00 mm straight shank. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys as specified by the manufacturer workpiece material ratings P, M, N, and S.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Verify collet size matches the 4.00 mm shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the correct gauge length before securing. Do not use this end mill as a center-cutting tool, as it is rated non-centercutting and is not designed for plunge entry.
