The MITEE-BITE 61000 is a single wedge-style T-slot clamp rated for 2,000 pounds of holding force. It is designed for use on milling machine tables, fixture plates, and similar machining setups where a low-profile, space-saving workholding solution is required. The clamp body measures 0.82 inches wide by 1.25 inches deep by 1 inch high, keeping the footprint compact and leaving more table real estate for the workpiece. A 5/16-18 screw thread drives the wedge mechanism, with a jaw spread range of 0.98 to 1.05 inches. Required torque is 10.4 lb/ft. Machinists and tooling technicians are the primary installers of this component.
The 61000 is suited for production machining environments where minimizing tool changes and reducing wasted table space are priorities. The single-wedge T-slot configuration allows the clamp to seat directly into a standard T-slot channel without requiring a separate nut or complicated hardware stack. It is appropriate for both horizontal and vertical milling setups where consistent, repeatable clamping force on a workpiece or fixture is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit addition for standard T-slot milling tables and fixture plates that accept a T-slot wedge clamp configuration.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians during workholding setup. Power down or lock out the machine spindle before positioning or adjusting clamps on the table. Seat the wedge fully into the T-slot channel before applying final torque to the drive screw to ensure even clamping force distribution. Do not exceed the rated holding force by over-torquing, as this can damage the clamp body or the T-slot channel.
