The MITEE-BITE 60100 is a single-wedge, T-slot machinable workholding clamp rated for 2,000 pounds of holding force. It is designed for use on CNC machining centers, manual mills, and fixture plates where secure, repeatable part clamping is required. The wedge geometry distributes clamping force uniformly across the workpiece, reducing the risk of part movement or distortion during cutting operations. The 60100 accepts a 5/16-18 mounting screw and requires 10.4 ft-lb of torque to develop full clamping force. The machinable body allows the clamp to be custom-profiled to suit specific workpiece geometries or fixture requirements. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture engineers are the primary users of this clamp.
The 60100 is suited for production and prototype machining environments where T-slot tables or fixture plates are in use. It fits into standard T-slots and is appropriate for both horizontal and vertical machining setups. The clamp base measures 2 inches wide by 0.82 inches deep by 1 inch high, making it a compact option for setups with limited clearance. The included locking plate and mounting screw allow immediate installation without sourcing additional hardware. This clamp is used in aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking shops that require consistent holding force across repeated setups.
Designed for use in standard T-slot tables and fixture plates on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where single-wedge clamp style and 5/16-18 screw thread are appropriate for the application.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or toolmaker during workholding setup. Ensure the T-slot is clean and free of chips or debris before seating the clamp body. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before adjusting or repositioning clamps during a setup change. Do not exceed the specified torque value when tightening the mounting screw, as overtorque can damage the locking plate or distort the clamp body.
