The MITEE-BITE 26070 is a standard-style screw mount toe clamp designed for workholding applications in machining and fabrication environments. Built from serrated steel, this clamp generates up to 6,000 pounds of holding force when torqued to 360 inch-pounds (30 foot-pounds). The serrated contact edge bites into the workpiece or fixture surface to resist slipping under cutting loads. Each clamp measures 1 inch wide and 0.25 inches high, with an extension length of approximately 23/32 inch (0.719 inches) and a throw of 0.05 inches. The 3/8-16 screw thread is a widely used standard in machining fixture plates. Each package contains four clamps.
These toe clamps are suited for use on milling machine tables, CNC machining centers, and manual fixture setups where low-profile clamping is required. The standard style is appropriate for general workholding where the clamp must engage the edge of a part or sub-plate. The low clamp height of 0.25 inches allows clearance for toolpaths that pass close to the workpiece perimeter. Machinists, tool and die makers, and fixture builders are the primary installers of this type of clamp.
Designed for use with standard fixture plates, T-slot tables, and sub-plates that accept 3/8-16 threaded fasteners. Consult your fixture plate or T-slot table specifications to confirm thread and slot compatibility before installation.
Installation is performed by machinists or fixture builders as part of a workholding setup. Ensure the machine is powered down and the spindle is stopped before adjusting or repositioning clamps. Apply torque to the clamp screw using a calibrated torque wrench to reach the specified clamping force; do not exceed the rated torque value. Verify that the serrated face is fully seated against the workpiece edge before beginning any cutting operation.
