The MITEE-BITE 10206 is a symmetrical hex clamp designed for precision workholding in machining and fixturing applications. The clamp features a 13/16 inch brass hex head and a hardened steel stud with a 3/8-16 thread size. It delivers up to 2,000 pounds of holding force at a torque rating of 20.80 ft/lb, making it a reliable choice for securing workpieces in milling, drilling, and boring setups. The hex head stands 1/4 inch tall, and the stud thread runs 23/32 inches in length. Each package contains 10 clamps, suitable for production setups requiring multiple clamping points.
The MITEE-BITE 10206 is used in machine shop environments where low-profile, repeatable clamping is required. The symmetrical hex design allows the clamp to be positioned from any flat of the hex, simplifying setup and reducing positioning time. It is well suited for CNC machining centers, manual mills, and fixture plates where clearance is limited and consistent clamp force is critical. Designed for use with standard T-slot fixture plates and tombstones that accept 3/8-16 stud threads. Verify fixture plate thread specification before installation.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in a safe state before adjusting any clamps on the table. Use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten the stud to the specified 20.80 ft/lb torque value to achieve rated holding force. Do not exceed the rated torque, as overtightening can damage the brass hex head or the fixture plate threads.
