The MILWAUKEE TOOL 48-73-7153E is an ANSI/ISEA A5 cut-resistant and puncture-resistant work glove designed for general-purpose trade use. Built on a polyethylene and nylon-spandex shell, it delivers ANSI/ISEA Level 5 cut resistance, Level 5 puncture resistance, and Level 5 abrasion resistance in a single pair. The nitrile dip coating covers the thumb and index finger, providing targeted grip and protection where tools and materials make the most contact. An elasticated wrist cuff keeps the glove seated during active work. HVAC techs, electricians, plumbers, and general mechanical tradespeople use this glove when handling sheet metal edges, conduit, pipe fittings, and other sharp-edged materials on the job.
The 48-73-7153E belongs to Milwaukee Tool's SMARTSWIPE series and is sized X-Large for both men and women. The unisex fit and lightweight polyethylene-nylon-spandex construction make it suitable for extended wear during service calls, rough-in work, or fabrication tasks where dexterity and cut protection are both required. The nitrile-dipped grip surface maintains control on oily or wet parts. The gray colorway and general-purpose design make it appropriate for a wide range of mechanical and electrical trade environments.
Designed as a general-purpose cut and puncture resistant work glove suitable for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical trade applications where ANSI/ISEA A5 cut protection is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or coating separation that would reduce protection. Follow applicable jobsite PPE requirements and consult ANSI/ISEA 105 guidelines when selecting gloves for specific hazard levels. Discard and replace if the shell or coating is compromised. Gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or chemical splash protection -- verify the correct PPE class for the specific hazard before use.
