Installation requires an SDS-Max rotary hammer tool operated by a qualified tradesperson. Before inserting or removing the bit, ensure the tool is powered off and disconnected from its power source or battery pack. Insert the shank fully into the chuck until it seats and locks audibly. When drilling into concrete near existing conduit, rebar, or structural members, verify routing with applicable plans and use a rebar scanner where required by site conditions.
