The MILWAUKEE 9573 is a 2-ton capacity electric chain hoist built for heavy industrial and commercial rigging applications. It delivers up to 20 feet of lift height and is driven by a single- or three-phase motor paired with a built-in multi-disc magnetic brake for positive load holding and precise load spotting. The overload limiting clutch protects both the hoist and the load from damage caused by lifting beyond rated capacity. A 24-volt pushbutton pendant station provides ergonomic control, accommodating thumb, trigger, or two-handed operation. This unit is rated for H-3 duty service classification with on-time up to 25 percent of the work period, making it suited for sustained industrial use.
The 9573 is designed for overhead lifting in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and maintenance shops. It handles material positioning, machinery installation, and heavy component transfer where precise vertical load control is required. The hoist mounts via a latch-type rigid top hook, allowing straightforward integration with existing overhead beam or trolley systems. Adjustable upper and lower limit switches allow the operator to define travel boundaries for the load, reducing risk of over-travel in fixed installations.
Designed as an OEM-style overhead electric chain hoist for use with compatible beam, monorail, or trolley mounting systems that accept a latch-type rigid top hook.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger or electrician familiar with ASME B30.16 overhead hoist standards and applicable NEC requirements for motor branch circuits. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing or mounting the hoist. Verify that the overhead support structure is rated for the full dynamic load before placing the unit in service. Do not exceed the 2-ton rated capacity under any operating condition.
