The MILWAUKEE 80352 is a wax-based, lead-free lumber crayon designed for marking on job-site materials including lumber, concrete, metal, ceramics, cardboard, paper, plastic, and rubber. The standard 1/2-inch hexagonal shape is commonly called a keel or layout chalk and is built to write on rough or porous surfaces where standard pencils and markers fail. This crayon is sold in dozen packs, making it a practical restocking item for framing crews, concrete contractors, and general trades workers who mark materials throughout the workday.
The 80352 is suited for residential and commercial construction applications where clear, durable surface marking is required. Common uses include layout lines on dimensional lumber, identification marks on concrete formwork, and material labeling on metal components. The hex profile prevents rolling on flat surfaces, keeping the crayon in place on a sawhorse or workbench. Made in the USA.
The 1/2-inch hex profile is compatible with the Peterson 109 holder, 106 holder, and 108 holder.
No installation required. Store crayons in a cool, dry location to prevent softening in high-heat environments such as direct sun on a job site. When using a crayon holder, ensure the collet or chuck is fully tightened before use to prevent slippage. Dispose of spent crayons per local solid-waste guidelines.
