The MILWAUKEE 5261-DE is a vacuum assisted dust extractor designed for drilling into concrete and masonry with SDS plus rotary hammers and AC/DC hammer drills. It mounts directly to the drill via a universal handle system and channels dust through a dedicated nozzle into a connected wet dry vacuum, keeping the work area clean and reducing airborne silica exposure during drilling operations. The unit ships with three side handle clamping collar assemblies, a replacement nozzle, and an adjustable depth stop with ruler for repeatable hole depths. Licensed tradespeople working under silica dust regulations will find this a practical field solution that requires no new drill purchase.
The 5261-DE is suited for residential and commercial concrete and masonry drilling tasks where dust control is required by jobsite safety standards. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, and general contractors drilling anchor or conduit holes into concrete slabs, CMU block, and masonry walls are the primary users. The adjustable depth stop allows consistent hole depths across repetitive anchor-setting or layout work without repeated measuring.
Compatible with major brands of SDS plus rotary hammers and AC/DC hammer drills. Accepts standard wet dry vacuum hoses in 1.25-inch, 1.5-inch, 1.875-inch, and 2.5-inch sizes.
Mount the dust extractor collar onto the drill body before beginning any drilling operation and confirm the clamping collar is secured before applying load. Connect a wet dry vacuum hose of a compatible diameter to the vacuum port before drilling. Always power down the drill and disconnect from power before attaching or adjusting the extractor assembly. Refer to applicable jobsite silica dust control plans and OSHA Table 1 requirements for rotary hammer drilling when selecting dust control methods.
