The Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp 49-93-7780 is a 4-inch turbo diamond cup wheel built for aggressive surface grinding on concrete and masonry. Part of the DIAMOND MAX line, it uses a proprietary diamond formula engineered to deliver up to 5 times the service life on concrete compared to standard cup wheels. The turbo-segment profile increases surface contact, which improves grinding control and produces a smoother finished surface. A vented core design promotes efficient dust extraction whether the wheel is run wet or dry. The 5/8-inch-11 threaded arbor fits standard angle grinders.
This cup wheel is suited for concrete grinding, surface leveling, and adhesive removal on floors and flatwork. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial applications where fast, controlled material removal is required. The wet and dry compatibility makes it adaptable to jobsite conditions where water suppression is preferred or where dry grinding with dust collection is the standard workflow. Licensed contractors, concrete finishers, and tile setters commonly reach for this wheel when prepping slabs for coatings, overlays, or tile installation.
Designed for use with angle grinders equipped with a 5/8-inch-11 threaded spindle. Suitable for grinding concrete, leveling uneven surfaces, and removing adhesive residue from concrete substrates.
Mounting and removal should be performed by a qualified operator with the angle grinder fully powered down and unplugged or battery removed. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and do not operate above the rated RPM marked on the wheel. When grinding dry, use appropriate respiratory protection and connect dust extraction equipment to the vented core port where applicable. Follow OSHA silica dust control requirements when grinding concrete in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
