The MILWAUKEE 49-59-4131 is a tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) annular cutter designed for drilling clean, fast holes in hard metal materials. Its advanced tooth geometry simultaneously cuts, cleans, and clears chips during drilling, reducing heat buildup and improving hole quality. The thin-wall design displaces less material than standard cutters, which translates to faster cut cycles and burr-free results. At 3.65 inches in length and 1-5/16 inches in cutting diameter, this cutter is suited for trade professionals operating magnetic drill presses on structural and fabrication work.
This annular cutter is intended for use in mild steel applications and is compatible with most small and large magnetic drill presses via a 3/4 inch Weldon shank. The TCT construction also supports use in harder materials including stainless steel and cast iron where standard high-speed steel cutters wear prematurely. It ships as a single unit and is typically used by ironworkers, pipefitters, structural steel fabricators, and millwrights who require precise, repeatable hole sizes without secondary finishing.
Fits most small magnetic drill presses and large magnetic drill presses equipped with a 3/4 inch Weldon shank arbor. Recommended for use with pilot pin 49-59-0014.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with magnetic drill press operation. Secure the magnetic drill press to a clean, flat metal surface before starting and verify the Weldon shank is fully seated and locked in the arbor. Always insert the pilot pin before beginning the cut to prevent cutter walking. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and cut-resistant gloves when operating annular cutters on metal.
