The MILWAUKEE 49-57-4620 is a threaded Steel Hawg annular cutter designed for fast, clean hole-cutting in metal. It uses carbide teeth arranged in an alternating cutting pattern to drill holes up to 2 inches deep in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The cutter features a spring-loaded, self-ejecting pilot pin that acts as a centering pin during entry and ejects the slug automatically after the cut. At 4-5/8 inches in diameter with a 2 TPI tooth configuration, this cutter is built for electromagnetic drill press applications where speed and hole-quality matter.
This annular cutter is suited for structural steel fabrication, ironwork, and mechanical contracting where large-diameter holes are required through plate, tube, or structural members. It mounts via M18 x 1.5 threaded shank and is compatible with electromagnetic drill presses. For use with Milwaukee magnetic drill press model 4262-1, pair it with arbor 49-57-0030. For Milwaukee model 4292-1, use arbor 49-57-0010. It is also compatible with a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010. Sold individually.
Compatible with most electromagnetic drill presses using M18 x 1.5 threaded arbors. Use with arbor 49-57-0030 for Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press, arbor 49-57-0010 for Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press, or No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010.
Installation is performed by ironworkers, structural fabricators, and mechanical contractors using electromagnetic drill presses. Secure the drill press to the work surface with its magnetic base before engaging the cutter. Confirm the arbor thread engagement is fully seated before beginning a cut. Apply cutting oil to the cutter teeth to reduce heat buildup and extend tooth life.
