The MILWAUKEE 49-57-0012 is a quick change arbor assembly designed for use with Steel Hawg annular cutters in Milwaukee magnetic drill motors. It features a No. 3 Morse taper shank that adapts quick change tang drive Steel Hawg cutters to a No. 3 internal Morse taper motor spindle. The assembly includes the arbor, oil hose, and hand pump, providing a complete setup for annular cutter drilling operations. Weighing 3.08 pounds, this steel-construction arbor is built for the rigors of magnetic drill use on structural steel, fabrication work, and on-site ironwork. Licensed electricians, ironworkers, and mechanical contractors performing steel drilling will find this a direct-fit solution for their Milwaukee mag drill setup.
This arbor assembly is intended for use with Milwaukee magnetic drill motors 4292-1 and 4297-1. It is suited for applications where quick cutter changes are required without removing the arbor from the motor. Typical install scenarios include structural steel fabrication shops, field ironwork, and mechanical piping rough-in where annular cutters are used to drill clean, burr-minimized holes in steel plate or beam. For best cutting results, Milwaukee Hawg Wash cutting fluid is recommended to keep the cutting surface cool and lubricated. Hawg Wash fluid is sold separately as part number 49-32-0081. The oil hose (43-75-0010) and hand pump (44-46-0090) are included in this assembly.
Designed for use with Milwaukee magnetic drill motors 4292-1 and 4297-1. Accepts quick change tang drive Steel Hawg annular cutters. The oil hose (43-75-0010) and hand pump (44-46-0090) are included. Hawg Wash cutting fluid (49-32-0081) is sold separately.
Installation and cutter changes should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with magnetic drill operation. Always disengage and power down the magnetic drill motor before mounting or removing the arbor or changing cutters. Ensure the Morse taper shank is fully seated and secure in the motor spindle before drilling. Apply cutting fluid continuously during operation using the included oil hose and hand pump to prevent heat buildup and premature cutter wear.
