The MILWAUKEE 48-22-8971 is an ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A3 work glove with integrated impact protection, designed for tradespeople who need cut resistance and hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. The glove features ANSI/ISEA 138-2019 Impact Level 2-rated TPR panels on the back of the hand and an 18-gauge knit construction that keeps fingertips responsive for handling small fasteners, fittings, and components. A reinforced nitrile coating at the thumb-index finger junction adds durability at the highest wear points on the palm side.
These gloves suit electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general construction trades working in environments where cut hazards and impact risks are both present. The knit cuff design makes them easy to don and doff, and the color-coded wrist band with back-of-hand logo allows quick cut-level identification on the job site. Touchscreen-compatible fingertips let the user operate phones and tablets without removing the gloves.
Designed as a general-purpose cut and impact protective glove suitable for trade and industrial applications requiring ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A3 and ANSI/ISEA 138-2019 Impact Level 2 compliance.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or degraded TPR panels that would reduce protection levels. Machine wash according to manufacturer guidance and replace when cut or impact protection is visibly compromised. Gloves do not provide electrical insulation and must not be used as a substitute for rated electrical PPE when working on energized systems.
