The MILLER BY PIP 216WLS-Z7/4FTYL is a single-leg shock absorbing lanyard designed for personal fall arrest systems in industrial, construction, and maintenance environments. Constructed with polyester webbing and steel hardware, it extends to 4 feet in length with a 1-inch strap width. The integrated shock absorber reduces the peak arresting force transmitted to the worker during a fall event. Rated for a 310 lb load capacity with a 5,000 lb tensile strength, this lanyard is built to withstand the demands of daily trade use. It is installed by safety-qualified workers, contractors, and site supervisors wherever fall protection compliance is required.
This lanyard is suited for residential and commercial construction, industrial maintenance, utility work, and any elevated worksite application requiring OSHA-compliant fall protection. The snap hook anchorage connection features a 3/4-inch gate opening for secure attachment to compatible anchor points. The snap hook harness connection attaches directly to the dorsal D-ring of a full-body harness. It meets ANSI specifications, is CSA certified, and is OSHA approved, making it appropriate for worksites governed by federal and Canadian safety standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use single-leg shock absorbing lanyard compatible with full-body harnesses equipped with a standard dorsal D-ring connection and anchor points accepting a snap hook with a 3/4-inch gate opening.
Fall protection lanyards must be installed and inspected by a competent person as defined by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502. Before each use, inspect the webbing, stitching, hardware, and snap hook locking mechanisms for wear, cuts, chemical damage, or deformation. Attach the anchorage snap hook only to a rated anchor point capable of supporting the required load. Never connect the lanyard in a configuration that allows a free-fall distance exceeding what the system is rated for, and retire the lanyard immediately after any fall arrest event.
