The MILLER 650K/UBL is a full body fall protection harness built for welding environments where flame and heat resistance are required. Constructed from Nomex material, this harness provides inherent thermal protection without sacrificing mobility. It carries a 400-pound load capacity and is sized universally to fit a wide range of workers. The back D-ring serves as the primary fall arrest attachment point. Friction shoulder strap buckles allow fast, tool-free adjustability, while mating leg and chest strap buckles deliver a secure, positive closure. This harness is designed for use by qualified fall protection personnel in industrial and construction settings.
This harness is suited for welders, ironworkers, and industrial tradespeople working at height in environments with exposure to sparks, slag, and open flame. The Nomex construction resists ignition and limits heat transfer to the wearer. The universal sizing accommodates a broad range of body types, making it practical for multi-worker jobsites. It is appropriate for both residential and commercial construction as well as heavy industrial applications where OSHA fall protection requirements apply at six feet or greater working height.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fit for full body harness fall arrest systems using a back D-ring lanyard or self-retracting lifeline connection point, consistent with ANSI Z359 compliant anchor and connector hardware.
Donning and inspection of this harness should be performed by a competent person trained in fall protection, per OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 requirements. Before each use, inspect all webbing, buckles, D-rings, and stitching for wear, cuts, burns, or chemical damage. Any harness subjected to fall arrest forces must be removed from service immediately and not reused. Disconnect all energy sources and secure the work area before beginning elevated work where this harness will be the primary fall protection measure.
