Product Description

The MILBANK U4702-X is a single-position, ringless-type meter socket designed for 1-phase electrical service installations. Rated at 400 amperes and 600 VAC at 60 Hz, it accommodates both overhead and underground service entry configurations. The enclosure is fabricated from powder-coated G90 galvanized steel and carries a NEMA 3R rating for outdoor, surface-mount applications. The socket uses a 4-jaw design with a lever-style bypass switch, allowing utilities and licensed electricians to perform meter pulls without a full service disconnect. Termination is made via 3/8 inch-16 TPI stud connections on both the line and load sides. UL listed.

The U4702-X is suited for residential and light commercial electrical service entrances where a single meter position is required.
