The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES SS6602-20-20-20 is a stainless steel swivel run tee fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid system applications. It features three 1-1/4-inch JIC connections: a male JIC inlet, a female JIC swivel branch, and a male JIC outlet. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this tee is rated to 2500 psi maximum operating pressure and withstands operating temperatures up to 1000 degrees F. The swivel feature on the female JIC port simplifies assembly by allowing rotation during connection without twisting the mating line. Licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and industrial pipefitters typically install this fitting in fluid power and process piping systems.
This fitting is suited for use in hydraulic lines, fluid transfer systems, and high-temperature process plumbing where corrosion resistance and pressure integrity are critical. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for marine, chemical processing, food service, and industrial environments where carbon steel fittings are not acceptable. The run tee configuration allows branching off a main line while maintaining inline flow, a common need in manifold and distribution plumbing layouts. It is part of the Midland Industries SS6602 Series of female JIC swivel run tees.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install fitting for hydraulic and fluid power systems requiring 1-1/4-inch JIC connections in a run tee configuration. Part of the Midland Industries SS6602 Series of stainless steel JIC swivel adapters.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or licensed pipefitter familiar with JIC flare fittings and high-pressure fluid systems. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. JIC 37-degree flare connections rely on proper flare geometry for a leak-free seal; inspect mating flares for damage before assembly. Follow applicable industry standards and system manufacturer guidelines for fitting installation and torque procedures.
